From candle votives to iron lanterns; candles, both real and not-so; vases of every shape and size, many in large volumes; silk flowers and dried arrangements of every shape and colour; wedding arches and wishing wells; signs and easels, blackboards and mirrors; love seats and chaise lounge.

Our collection grows almost weekly! If an item you want is not listed, please just ask. We are always adding to our collection and will happily try to source your exact requirements.

Come and visit our beautiful showroom where Shona can assist you with your event design. Viewing is by appointment only.

ARCHES

Great for weddings, birthdays, photo booths and entranceways, either dressed to suit your theme or standing bare. We have a good selection of arches from metal filigree to rustic wood, rectangular, triangular and circular.

BRIDAL WALK & ENTRANCES

Define your bridal walk or entrance with shepherds crooks, pebbles, lanterns, candles, flowers, ribbons and so much more, or roll out the red carpet and bollards for your classic VIP treatment!

FLORA

Bring your floral fantasies to life with our huge range of realistic faux flowers and greenery! Incorporate them as accents to your venue, feature areas and centre pieces. With so many varieties and colours to choose from, we will have something to suit your theme and event. I can also make up personalised bouquets for bride and wedding party, including buttonholes for the men!

LIGHTING

Set the mood with fairy light curtains, strands of lights, real or faux candles, candle votives, festoon lights, lanterns, willow trees, seed lights, up-lights, coloured lights and more!

VENUE DRESSING

Transform your venue with draping fabric, curtains, wall coverings, bunting and carpets. Add in some pillars, large floral arrangements, themed arches or statement furniture pieces to add interest and define areas.

BOWS & SASHES

Whether organza, satin, linen or hessian, we have sashes in every shade of the rainbow, from earthy colours to full glitz. Use them to add glam to your chairs, tables, bridal walk, arch, stage and venue decorations.

TABLE DRESSING

We have a nice variety of colours and fabrics to choose from for your table runners and napkins. Napkins are pre-pressed to your chosen fold design. High quality pre-pressed tablecloths are available in black and white to suit large or small, round, square and long tables. We can also do table skirting with pleats, swag or a simple boxed cloth.

CENTREPIECES

Add flair to your tables with themed centrepieces. We have a huge variety of vases - tall, short, wide, thin, round, straight, clear or frosted. We also have lanterns, crystal lamps, ornaments, mantanzia trees, floral arrangements, candles, table confetti, petals, glass beads, pearl strands, fabric lengths, candle votives, table signs, and more.

CROCKERY & CUTLERY

We have a good range of cutlery, including cake forks. Simple dinner plates, side plates and bowls in black or white to set any table. Charger plates in black or gold rim.

GLASSWARE

Our glassware range includes simple water glasses, stemmed or stemless wine glasses, champagne flutes, and a variety of unique crystal glassware.

SERVEWARE

Beautify your buffet with our range of ceramic or wood platters, food stands, large bowls, candy station jars, drink dispensers, plastic and wooden trays, serving utensils and buffet signs.

SIGNAGE

Make everything clear with signage! Welcome signs, options for formal and informal seating plans, table numbers, buffet signage, ‘Bar Here’ and other direction signs, a range of numbers and letters, ‘MR & MRS’, and other special messages. If we don’t have it we may be able to source it, or if you have your own signage we have a range of easels and message boards to display them on.

BRIDAL TABLE

Make your bridal table stand out with our range of MR & MRS signs, personalised letters, table skirting, floral arrangements and table decorations. Add luxury table settings and napkins for the wedding party. Define your background with fairy lights, curtains, an arch, floral details or fabric drapes.

WEDDING DECOR

Come and see us for wishing wells and other wedding themed finishing touches. Don’t forget the registry table, wedding cake table, memorial table and/or the gifts & cards table, which can all be provided either round or square, with or without table linen and decorations.

Trawling through hire gear can be exhausting, especially when the choice is so vast. That’s why we view by appointment only at our showroom in Tauriko, Tauranga. Personal viewing allows us to guide you through our collection with focus on your event. We can help to hone your ideas and compile your perfect hire package.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

  1. Bookings are not confirmed until the payment of the non-refundable deposit has been received by Freestyle Events. This is 30% unless otherwise arranged.

  2. The minimum rental amount is $20.00 plus GST.

  3. Invoices once paid in full are just that, additional costs are extra and will be charged out accordingly and the hirer accepts to pay these additional costs unless otherwise determined.

  4. Rental charges for equipment shall be based on a daily rate determined by Freestyle Events. Unless otherwise agreed part days will be charged at a full day rate. Goods must be returned to the predetermined point by the due time.The hirer shall be charged an additional fee for equipment not returned by the agreed return date and time.

  5. All goods must be returned in a clean and hygienic manner.There will be a cleaning fee charged if equipment is not returned in such a manner acceptable to Freestyle Events and the hirer deems to accept, they will make additional payment if charged.

  6. Freestyle Events accepts no responsibility for any broken, dirty, damaged equipment once the equipment has been uplifted by the hirer.

  7. The hirer shall be charged for any broken, damaged and or missing equipment.The equipment shall be at the risk of the hirer until it is returned to Freestyle Events.

  8. All transport and packing containers are to be returned to Freestyle Events. The hirer will be charged for any missing packaging items.

  9. Freestyle Events may at their discretion charge a bond as security over the equipment. On return of the equipment any additional charges will be deducted from the bond relating to damage and or loss of equipment or for additional cleaning charges and or collection of items. The liability of the hirer for any additional charges shall not be limited to the amount of the bond and in the event of additional charges over the bond amount the remaining amount will be due immediately upon receipt of an invoice. The bond will be 15% of the total invoice up to $500 and 10% over that amount unless otherwise discussed.

  10. Any cancellation or alteration to the order shall be made within 48 hours of the agreed pick-up time. In the event of cancellation more than 48 hours prior to the agreed pick-up time or delivery time the deposit shall be retained by Freestyle Events. The hirer is responsible for full payment if cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the agreed pick up or delivery time or if the hirer fails to collect the equipment.

  11. The bond and any balances owing must be paid in full before goods leave Freestyle Events premises or within 3 working days of the event if Freestyle Events are delivering and providing labour.

  12. Freestyle Events shall not be liable where equipment is not available to be picked up or delivered at the agreed time due to circumstances beyond Freestyle Events control.

  13. If the hirer does not return the equipment at the agreed return time Freestyle events has the right to charge for collection expenses and reserves the right to collect the equipment without notice at the cost to the hirer.

  14. Interest will be charged at the rate of 1.25% per month (15%p.a.) on all overdue accounts.

  15. In the event of collection fees being charged these are at the cost of the hirer and will be charged in additional to any monies owed.

  16. All equipment shall at all times remain the property of Freestyle Events.

  17. The hirer shall not sub hire any equipment to a third party.

  18. Freestyle Events shall have no liability in respect of any injury or damage suffered by the hirer of any third party resulting from the use of the equipment.

  19. Rental charges for equipment shall be based on a daily rate determined by Freestyle Events. Unless otherwise agreed part days will be charged at a full day rate. Goods must be returned to the predetermined point by the due time.

The above Terms and Conditions apply even if Freestyle Events are providing labour as part of the service and delivery of equipment. See separate agreement for dry hire of equipment.
